Former member of Platinum Selling Female Group “Danity Kane” named Executive Producer of popular attraction, Next Big Thing Talent Show.
Fresno, CA --- J-Live Entertainment continues to make fresh new changes to their company’s image, productions and brand in their 10 year anniversary campaign.
Joey Perez, CEO and Founder of J-Live Entertainment announced today that he has partnered with performing artist Aundrea Fimbres, a former member of Platinum Selling Female Group “Danity Kane” to help provide a new fresh and exciting makeover to the company’s original production “J-Live Entertainment’s Next Big Thing Talent Show”.
Fimbres will now become the Next Big Thing Talent Show’s Executive Producer and will also co-host the program with Perez on stage. She will be assisting behind the scenes with the shows production format, open auditions and provide her music & performance arts industry expertise with contestants that participate in the Next Big Thing Talent Show.
“I am so excited to be working with such a great team and a top of the line production that provides opportunities to all talents and ages”, said Fimbres. “I can’t wait to see and meet all of the amazing talent”.
In 2004, Fimbres auditioned in Los Angeles, CA for the first season of Making the Band 3. Fimbres was one of the "standouts" during the competition. She excelled in dancing and her vocals set her apart from the other contestants. On the season finale of the series, she was picked to be in the group, which would soon become known as Danity Kane.
Danity Kane's self-titled debut studio album was released in 2006 and achieved success in the United States, shipping a million copies domestically, while spawning two singles with top 10 hit "Show Stopper" and the ballad "Ride for You". Their second studio album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, was released on March 18, 2008, following the release of their second top 10 hit single "Damaged”. The band became the first female group in Billboard history to debut their first two albums at the top of the charts.
“We wanted to give the talent show a much needed face lift and what better way to do that then by bringing in a platinum selling singer who has experienced firsthand what it is like to be in a performance competition, form a chart topping group, tour the world and now be able to provide all of that experience and advice to our contestants”, said Perez.
Since 2003, J-Live Entertainment’s “Next Big Thing Talent Show “ has awarded close to $50,000 to local talented contestants in all areas of California that have participated in the annual production. 81 winners from all over the state have been crowned champions and about 50 contestants have been given the opportunity to open for major recording artists such as Salt N Pepa, Bruno Mars, Newboyz, Jason De Rulo, Los Tucanes De Tijuana and more.
